Durable PVC Adjustable Breastplate

Meet your horse’s new go‑to breastplate, hand crafted and considerably designed to keep up with the tough demands of the farm, the arena and everything in between. Hand‑made from robust Australian‑sourced PVC webbing, this adjustable breastplate delivers:

  • Solid durability: The PVC webbing resists water, mud and sweat, and wont soak up grime like leather can. It’s easy to hose off and clean after a long day in the yards. Just rinse and ride!

  • Smart adjustability: With multiple adjustment points across the straps, you get a fine fit across the chest, over the shoulders and back to the girth. Keeps everything in place without pulling on the horse’s front.

  • Solid stainless steel hardware: No coatings, no shortcuts. Genuine stainless steel that won’t rust, warp or weaken. It’s gear you can rely on, ride after ride.

  • Australian working ethos: Designed for farm horses, stock work and all‑round equestrian use, whether you’re mustering, schooling or heading out for a casual ride. Our locally made breastplate reflects a rural lifestyle and the demands you place on your gear.

  • No fuss, honest quality: We’re not about fancy gimmicks. We hand‑make each piece in our workshop with a focus on what matters, materials that last, fittings that hold up, and a fit that works for real‑life horses.

How it works
Once you’ve fitted your saddle, you clip the front strap to your D‑rings, adjust the shoulder straps so there’s enough clearance for the horse’s withers and walk, then buckle the back strap to around the girth or billets. The adjustment points give you freedom to fine‑tune fit for high movement and full turnout.

Why choose a TRC made breastplate?

When you live with horses, you notice the little things; how gear fits after hours in the saddle, what holds up to wet weather, and what quietly fails when it counts most.

That’s why we make our gear the way we do. Every strap, buckle and bit of webbing is chosen because we’ve been in your boots, muddy, sore, and checking fence lines in the rain. We don’t design from behind a desk. We design from the paddock.

This isn’t just gear that looks the part, it’s gear that lasts, that fits right, and that doesn’t give you grief when you’ve got a job to do.

Because we know: when your gear works, your horse works better, and that makes all the difference.
